Adopt

Meet me, love me, take me home

The Homeward Bound Adoption Center offers a welcoming, modern space. Its free-roaming suites are designed to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, allow adopters to spend quality time with cats, and set up both cats and adopters for success.

All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped.
We look forward to seeing you!

ADOPTION process

You can see available cats and kittens on our website. If you see someone you’d like to meet, the best thing to do is visit us! Most of our cats and kittens are at our adoption center at 2675 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, open Tuesdays – Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm.

If a cat or kitten is noted to be in foster care, please email adoptions@homewardboundcats.org for more information.

All adoptions are conversation based, in person, on a first-come, first-served basis. Our cats and kittens come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities so we encourage you to get to know them and see who is the best fit for your family. Our adoption team will guide you through the process to make sure everyone is set up for success. Adoptions are same-day, and cats will go home with you immediately upon completing the adoption process. We cannot hold cats for future adoption or pick-up.

Yes, we regularly complete adoptions at offsite locations such as the PetSmart store located at 1261 South Decatur Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89102. Each cat’s profile is updated to reflect when/where they are/will be available for adoption.
Our Adoptions Team will be able to provide you as much information as we have about a cat so you can assess whether they may be a good match with your home/family before you adopt. However, sometimes the best way to know whether a cat is the right fit for you is to bring them home and give it a try! We offer a Foster to Adopt option where you can take a cat home on a trial basis as a foster to make sure it is the right fit for you and the cat. Ask our Adoptions Team for more information if you are interested in trying a Foster to Adopt trial.

If you are experiencing any challenges with your adopted cat, please reach out to our team by phone at 702.463.9996 or email at adoptions@homewardboundcats.org for assistance. We are happy to provide information or guidance to help overcome challenges or determine the next steps. We are always here to help.
