Carol and Lee founded Homeward Bound together in 2007 hoping to find an alternative to those wishing to rehome their domestic cats and kittens, in lieu of taking them to a shelter for euthanasia. Together, they defined the mission and strategic direction, designed promotional materials, adoption contracts, foster and volunteer manuals, and programs designed to help find homes for homeless cats.
